Robert K. Kraft Field at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium, opened in 1984, is the largest multi-purpose stadium in Manhattan with a capacity of 17,000. Located at the northern tip of Manhattan in Inwood, it's the only regulation-sized football stadium with 10,000+ capacity on the island and offers stunning views of the Hudson River.
Built as part of the Baker Athletics Complex, the stadium replaced older facilities and brought Columbia football back to Manhattan after years of playing at various locations. The complex was purchased for the university by financier George H. Baker in 1921, with the current stadium opening in 1984.
Midfield seats on either side offer the best views. The stadium's open design provides good sightlines throughout. West side seats face the Hudson River for beautiful water views.
Limited parking at the complex. Most fans use NYC public transit—the 1 and A trains stop half a mile away. For those driving, arrive very early or use parking garages in Upper Manhattan.
Take the subway to this unique Manhattan location. The views of the Hudson River and Inwood Hill Park are spectacular, especially in fall. After the game, explore Inwood's diverse dining scene or head south to explore more of Manhattan.
