Los Angeles Angels
Angel Stadium is an open-air ballpark in Anaheim, California, home of the Los Angeles Angels. Opened in 1966 with a capacity of 45,517, it plays on Tifway 419 Bermuda grass. Originally named Anaheim Stadium, it was renamed Edison International Field of Anaheim in 1998 and has been known as Angel Stadium since 2003. The stadium hosted MLB All-Star Games in 1967, 1989, and 2010, and was the site of the Angels' 2002 World Series championship.
Built to bring the Angels from Los Angeles to Orange County. It was later renovated into a multi-purpose stadium for the Rams and then returned to a baseball-only design.
Lower level seats on the first-base side get shade earliest. The "Trout Farm" in center field is the heart of the home run zone.
Driving is standard in Anaheim; the stadium has a massive, efficiently managed lot. The ARTIC transit hub is also a 10-minute walk away for rail users.
Take a photo with the 230-foot "Big A" sign in the parking lot. Watch for the Rally Monkey on the video board during high-leverage late-inning situations.
