St. Louis Cardinals
Busch Stadium is the open-air home of the St. Louis Cardinals in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Designed by Populous and opened in 2006, it seats 44,383 and features a retro-classic design with panoramic views of the downtown skyline. The playing surface is Hybrid Bermuda (Tahoma) grass, installed in 2023. The Cardinals won the 2006 World Series in the stadium's inaugural season, and the venue hosted the 2009 MLB All-Star Game.
Built to replace the circular "cookie-cutter" Busch Memorial Stadium with a traditional, retro-classic ballpark.
Sections 141-160 in the lower level offer the best unobstructed views of the Gateway Arch. The Redbird Club (200 level) provides climate-controlled concourses.
Parking in Ballpark Village is convenient but expensive. Use the MetroLink (Stadium Station) for a cheaper, efficient commute.
Visit the "Statue Plaza" to see the "Musial Circle" and tributes to 11 Cardinals legends. Grab a Budweiser and a plate of toasted ravioli, a St. Louis staple.
