Toledo
The Glass Bowl is one of the most uniquely beautiful stadiums in college football, featuring historic stone architecture and a modern gameday experience. Originally built as a WPA project, it remains the crown jewel of the University of Toledo's campus.
Built as a WPA project in 1936 with manual labor. Originally named University Stadium, it was renamed the Glass Bowl in 1946 to celebrate Toledo'sε°δ½as the "Glass Capital of the World."
The sideline seats in the west stands provide traditional views and easy access to concessions. The North end zone offers a high-energy perspective from the student section.
Campus lots (Lot 13, 10, and 9) are the primary gameday options ($15-$20). Free parking with a shuttle is available occasionally from the Scott Park campus.
Look for the "Rocket" (a real Nike Ajax rocket) adjacent to the stadium β legendary for pointing directly at Bowling Green's stadium. The stone architecture makes it one of the most distinctive venues in the MAC.
