📖About Pitbull Stadium

Riccardo Silva Stadium (soon to be Pitbull Stadium) opened in 1995 and hosted FIU football's inaugural 2002 season. The 20,000-seat Miami venue was renamed after Pitbull purchased naming rights in 2024.

Opened September 24, 1995 as 7,500-seat facility. Built as joint venture between FIU, Miami-Dade Schools, Parks, and Youth Fair. FIU football started 2002.
