Miami Marlins
loanDepot Park is the home of the Miami Marlins, opened in 2012 with a capacity of 37,442. Designed by Populous, the stadium features a retractable roof made of 8,300 tons of steel and was the first MLB stadium — and first retractable-roof stadium in any sport — to earn LEED Gold certification. Originally named Marlins Park, it was renamed loanDepot Park on March 31, 2021. The field uses Shaw Sports B1K artificial turf (installed 2020). The park hosted the 2017 MLB All-Star Game and the 2023 World Baseball Classic championship game.
Built to move the Marlins out of the shared football stadium and provide a dedicated, climate-controlled venue with a retractable roof for Miami's humid and rainy weather.
The "Clevander" (re-branded to social bars) in left field offers a club-like atmosphere. Seats on the first-base side provide the best views of the operable windows.
Parking is exclusively pre-paid through the Marlins app for the onsite garages (North and South). Many fans use the Marlins shuttle from the Metrorail.
Visit the "Heritage Plaza" outside. Eat a Cuban Sandwich or Arepas and join the "Beer Garden" festivities in center field.
