Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium holds 52,929 and is the oldest Big Ten stadium still in use. Opened October 8, 1960 with a 20-16 loss to Oregon, replacing the 10th Street Stadium. Built as a memorial to Indiana University alumni who died in World War I and World War II. The 105-foot Memorial Stadium Fieldhouse anchors the north end.
