Houchens-L.T. Smith Stadium, known as "The Houch," has been home to Western Kentucky since 1968. The 22,000-seat venue hosted the 2002 FCS national champions and two C-USA Championship Games.

Origins

Built in 1968 for $2.7M with 19,250 seats. Named for L.T. Smith (4th football coach) and Houchens Industries ($5M donation in 2007). Field named for Jimmy Feix in 1991.
