About State Farm Stadium

State Farm Stadium opened on August 1, 2006, in Glendale, Arizona as home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals. The 63,400-seat venue features a retractable Birdair fabric roof and a roll-in natural grass field (Tifway 419 hybrid Bermuda on a retractable tray). Designed by Eisenman Architects and HOK Sport (now Populous), it has hosted three Super Bowls: XLII (2008), XLIX (2015), and LVII (2023).
