Delaware Stadium is the historic home of the Blue Hens, one of the most successful programs in the history of college football. As the program transitions to the FBS level, the stadium remains a benchmark for East Coast football environments.
Opened in 1952 to replace Frazer Field. The stadium was designed to serve as a hub for Delaware athletics and has been expanded multiple times to accommodate the Hens' massive regional following.
The new West Side (Whitney Athletic Center) offers the most modern amenities and premium seating. For a traditional feel, the east side grandstands offer the classic Blue Hen atmosphere.
Parking is available in the massive lots surrounding the UD Sports Complex. Tailgating in the specialized "Blue Hen Lots" is a deep-rooted tradition in Newark.
Watch for the "Air Delaware" entrance. Join the "Blue Hen Walk" and enjoy the performance of the Delaware Marching Band. The spirit of legendary coach Tubby Raymond still permeates the Saturday atmosphere.
