The ICCU Dome, formerly Holt Arena, is one of college football's most distinctive venues as one of only three domed stadiums in the FCS. Built in 1970 in Pocatello, Idaho, the 12,000-seat multipurpose facility features an air-supported fabric roof and has hosted Idaho State football for over 50 years.
Constructed in 1970 as "Mini-Dome" to provide year-round indoor athletic facility in Pocatello's harsh winter climate. The air-supported dome design was innovative and cost-effective compared to rigid-dome structures, allowing ISU to host football, basketball, track, and other events year-round.
East sideline (Sections 5-9) offers best sightlines. The dome's low roof creates loud atmosphere - noise levels can exceed outdoor stadiums. Upper sections provide full-field views. Climate-controlled comfort year-round.
Arrive 90 minutes early for most games. Main lots surround dome off Holt Arena Dr. Street parking available on campus residential streets. Pocatello's small size means traffic is manageable even for big games.
Pocatello offers small-town Idaho atmosphere. Pre-game tailgating happens in outdoor lots when weather permits (early season). Visit campus landmarks like the Rendezvous Complex. Post-game, explore Old Town Pocatello for local dining or check out nearby natural attractions like Portneuf Valley.
