Lafayette Leopards
Fisher Stadium opened in 1926 as Fisher Field, built through the fund-raising efforts and personal contributions of Thomas Fisher (Class of 1888). The original 18,000-seat structure underwent a $33 million transformation in 2006-2007, creating a state-of-the-art facility renamed Fisher Stadium in honor of James Fisher (Class of 1977) for his significant renovation donation.
Thomas Fisher, Lafayette College Class of 1888, almost single-handedly raised the $445,000 needed for construction through fund-raising efforts and a sizable personal contribution. The stadium consolidated Lafayette's football operations and provided a premier home venue for the Leopards.
The renovated stadium seats 13,132 with excellent sightlines throughout. Sideline seating offers the best views of the FieldTurf playing surface. The modern press box and JumboTron enhance the game day experience.
Parking is available in campus lots surrounding the stadium. The facility's location on Lafayette's main campus in historic Easton makes it easily accessible. Arrive 2 hours early for rivalry games, particularly Lafayette-Lehigh, the nation's most-played football rivalry.
Experience Lafayette football in a state-of-the-art facility that blends modern amenities with nearly a century of tradition. The Bourger Varsity Football House showcases the program's commitment to excellence. For the ultimate experience, attend "The Rivalry" against Lehigh, the most-played rivalry in college football history.
