Opened in 1981 as Bobcat Stadium, it holds 28,388 spectators on a FieldTurf Duraspine Pro surface. The field was renamed in November 2003 for former head coach and athletics director Jim Wacker, who led the program to back-to-back NCAA Division II national championships in 1981 and 1982. In May 2024, University Federal Credit Union secured a 15-year, $23 million naming rights deal — the largest for a Sun Belt Conference football stadium.
