📖About Kyle Field

Kyle Field is the largest stadium in Texas and the SEC at 102,733 capacity. Named for professor Edwin Jackson Kyle who built the original with $650 of his own money in 1904, it's home to the "12th Man" tradition where students stand the entire game. The Seattle Seahawks paid $140,000 for limited "12th Man" rights.

Best Seats

Sections 114-118 and 127-131 are midfield. Zone Club (west side) offers premium indoor/outdoor seating. The student section (east side) stands the entire game as part of the 12th Man tradition—avoid if you want to sit.

Parking Tips

Reserved parking requires Aggie Athletics Foundation membership. General parking in remote lots with shuttle service. Park at Post Oak Mall and ride shuttle. Traffic is brutal—arrive 3+ hours early for big games. Uber/Lyft pickup at designated zones.

Game Day

Midnight Yell Practice the night before is a must (25,000+ attend)—gates open 10:45pm. Yell Leaders (not cheerleaders) use hand signals called "pass backs." The student section sways during the Aggie War Hymn. Sawing Varsity's Horns is the anti-Texas tradition. Clear bag policy enforced.
