Daikin Park — nicknamed "The Juice Box" — is the Houston Astros' home ballpark in downtown Houston, renamed from Minute Maid Park on January 1, 2025 under a 15-year partnership with Daikin Comfort Technologies (previously Enron Field and briefly Astros Field before Minute Maid Park took over in 2002). The park features a retractable roof, a main entrance built into the preserved lobby of Houston's historic Union Station, and the Crawford Boxes in left field — at 315 feet, one of the shortest home-run porches in Major League Baseball. After every Astros home run and win, a replica 1860s locomotive rolls along the track above the left-field wall.
Built to replace the Astrodome and return outdoor baseball to Houston (when weather permits) in a modern, baseball-only facility.
The "Crawford Boxes" in left field (only 315 ft from home) offer a high chance of catching a home run. The Diamond Club provides the ultimate luxury experience.
The park is in downtown Houston; use the METRORail Green or Purple lines. If driving, the lots around the Toyota Center are often a good value walk.
Watch "Bobby Dynamite" drive the replica 1860s locomotive after Astros home runs and wins. Eat at Torchy's Tacos and visit the Union Station entrance.
