Texas Southern Tigers
Shell Energy Stadium is a 22,000-seat multi-purpose venue in downtown Houston that opened in 2012 as the first soccer-specific stadium in a major American downtown. Home to the Houston Dynamo, Houston Dash, and Texas Southern Tigers, the stadium has undergone multiple naming changes and represents a modern home for TSU football.
The 340,000-square-foot open-air stadium was built in 2012 on 12 acres in downtown Houston to serve as home for Houston Dynamo FC. Texas Southern began playing home games at the stadium upon its opening.
The modern stadium offers excellent sightlines throughout. Lower bowl mid-field seating provides the best views of Tigers football.
Downtown Houston parking garages surround the stadium. Consider using Metro Rail for easy access from various parts of the city.
The stadium is shared with Houston Dynamo FC (MLS), Houston Dash (NWSL), and Houston Gamblers (UFL). The Ocean of Soul marching band brings HBCU culture to every Tigers home game.
