

Georgia Southern
Allen E. Paulson Stadium, home of Georgia Southern Eagles football in Statesboro, GA, opened September 29, 1984, and holds 25,000 spectators. Named for Gulfstream Aerospace founder Allen E. Paulson, who donated more than $1 million toward construction, it was expanded in 2013–2014 to reach its current capacity. The playing surface — FieldTurf Vertex Prestige with CoolPlay — is now called Evans Family Field after a $3 million gift in 2024. The stadium hosted NCAA Division I-AA Championship Games from 1989 to 1991.
