Bridgeforth Stadium has been home to James Madison since 1975 and was transformed by a $62M renovation completed in 2011. The 24,877-seat venue hosted the 2004 FCS championship run.
Opened as Madison Stadium in 1975 with 5,200 seats. Named for William E. Bridgeforth (Board of Visitors member) in 1990. Field named for benefactor Zane Showker in 2003.
West side renovation features club level and 16 luxury suites. East side visitor stands may see future renovation.
