Warren McGuirk Alumni Stadium is the home of the UMass Minutemen, offering a classic New England college football setting. Nestled on the western edge of the picturesque Amherst campus, it provides an intimate atmosphere where fans are close to the action.
Opened in 1965 to replace the aging Alumni Field. It was named in honor of Warren McGuirk, who served as the university's Athletic Director from 1948 to 1971 and was a key figure in the program's growth.
The West Side stands offer the best views of the field and the Berkshire Hills in the distance. The "U-Zone" in the north end zone is where you'll find the loudest student support.
Parking passes are required for all lots. Buy in advance online ($15) to save over gameday prices ($25). Lots 22 and 33 are popular for general tailgating.
Don't miss the "Minuteman Walk" as the team enters the stadium, led by the UMass Minuteman mascot. The "Power and Class of New England" marching band is a highlight of the halftime show.
