Warren McGuirk Alumni Stadium is the home of UMass football. Located on the western edge of the Amherst campus, the stadium offers an intimate and authentic New England college football experience.
Opened in 1965 to replace Alumni Field. Named for Warren McGuirk, who was the UMass Athletics Director for 23 years.
The West Side grandstand (home side) features the newest amenities and luxury suites. For a social atmosphere, the "U-Zone" in the north end zone is popular.
Parking is available in the lots surrounding the stadium and the nearby Mullins Center. Tailgating is allowed in the stadium lot and is a major part of the UMass game day culture.
Watch for the UMass Minuteman mascot and the award-winning "Power and Class" of New Englandβthe UMass Minuteman Marching Band. Experience the "Minuteman Walk" as the team enters the stadium.
