Central Connecticut Blue Devils
Arute Field, home to the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils, is a versatile multi-purpose stadium in New Britain, Connecticut. With a capacity of 5,500, this compact venue has served as the football home for the Blue Devils since it opened in 2000.
The stadium was built in 2000 to provide Central Connecticut State with a dedicated athletic facility on campus. Named after the Arute family, long-time supporters of CCSU athletics, the facility was designed to accommodate both football and track and field events.
The home side bleachers between the 30-yard lines offer the best views. The press box side provides shade during afternoon games. Student section is in the north end zone, creating a spirited atmosphere.
Campus parking lots surround the stadium with easy access. Arrive 60-90 minutes early for best spots. Street parking available on adjacent residential streets. Parking is typically free for most games.
New Britain offers a classic small-city college game day experience. The Blue Devils pride themselves on community connections. Check out pre-game activities at the Alumni House near campus.
