Falcon Stadium, situated at 6,621 feet above sea level, is one of the most picturesque and intimidating venues in college football. Home to the Air Force Academy since 1962, it offers breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains and is famous for its pre-game flyovers and military precision.
Opened in 1962 at a cost of $3.5 million to provide a dedicated home for the Air Force Academy's growing football program. It replaced the smaller on-campus fields and was built into a natural bowl on the base.
The lower level sections between the 40-yard lines offer the best sightlines. For the most iconic views of the Rampart Range, sit on the east side looking west.
Parking is included with all tickets starting in 2025 to streamline entry. You must have a government-issued ID ready at the base security gate. Use the South Gate for typically faster entry.
Arrive early for the "March-On" by the Cadet Wing and the spectacular flyovers by various Air Force aircraft. Falcon Alley, located on the east side, offers a great pre-game fan experience.
