Arkansas–Pine Bluff Golden Lions
Simmons Bank Field is a 16,000-seat stadium in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, that opened in 2000 as one of the first modern HBCU football facilities. After a landmark $2.5 million donation in 2018—the largest in UAPB history—the stadium features state-of-the-art artificial turf and a high-definition video scoreboard.
Built at a cost of $14 million to replace aging Pumphrey Stadium, which had served the program from the 1950s until 2000. The new stadium was designed to provide modern facilities and enhance recruitment.
The home-side stands offer the best atmosphere and proximity to the Golden Lions bench. All seats provide clear sightlines in this well-designed facility.
Campus parking is available near the stadium. Street parking fills up for conference games and homecoming.
The Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South brings excitement to home games. The IRONTURF surface keeps the field in excellent condition year-round.
