Phil Simms Stadium, formerly known as Jayne Stadium, is a 10,000-seat venue nestled in the foothills of eastern Kentucky. Named after former Morehead State quarterback and NFL Super Bowl champion Phil Simms, this stadium combines small-town charm with proud football traditions in the heart of Appalachia.

Origins

Originally built in 1964 as Jayne Stadium, the venue was constructed to provide Morehead State University with a modern football facility. The stadium was renamed Phil Simms Stadium in 2022 to honor the university's most famous football alumnus, who led the New York Giants to Super Bowl XXI victory.
